Hi, I’m Malcolm Dow, VK3HL, and on this site I will describe my activities and experiences as an amateur radio operator and experimenter based near Melbourne, Australia.

Here you will find descriptions of my experiments with antenna systems, high performance receiver design, develoment and construction of test equipment for all frequencies from Very Low Frequencies (VLF) through to microwaves, my experiences building and using QRP (very low power) radio equipment, and the application of microprocessors to amateur radio.

You might also like to keep in touch with me through my blog, which will contain the latest news of my ham radio journey, and by visiting my numerous other websites listed in the sidebars and which I will discuss from time to time.
